Basic Subtraction

Yo kids! Today we are going to start learning basic subtraction. Before you start, make sure you have already mastered addition and already know how to count backwards. You will need to use the skills in addition and counting backwards alot! Subtraction is kind of like addition backwards. Now let's start! First, we will talk about the subtraction symbol, "-" when you see that line, it means that you need to subtract. When you subtract, for example, 7-2, you will need to count backwards 2 times starting on 7. 7, 6, 5. 7-2=5.
